2024 ACHTUS Colloquium

The Connors Centers
Dover, MA

June 9-12, 2024

Our Colloquium’s Theme

“Synodality En Conjunto: The People of God, the Bible, and Theology.”

Attentive to the signs of the times, we will be reflecting on a historical moment in the life of the Catholic Church, the current Synod.  It started in October of 2021 and will conclude in October of 2024.  This Synod has conducted the only (and largest) “consultative process” in the history of the church, gathering the hopes and concerns of all its members –the People of God– beginning at the local level.

The panels will be reflecting on the five priorities advanced by the USCCB in its Final Document for the Synod which partially reflects the realities of our Latinx communities. Panels will include senior and junior scholars as well as a diversity of areas in the field of theology (Bible, Systematics, Ethics, Practical Theology, and others). There will be one panel of Pastoral Leaders, and a panel from Latin America.
